Overview
Jeff served as Project Manager and lead mechanical engineer for development of a tablet PC that needed to withstand the rigors of a bingo setting.  The resultant product design was licensed for $1 Million to the world’s #1 bingo equipment supplier.

Product Details

  • First touch screen tablet in the bingo environment
  • Plastic injection molded case accommodates three different sized LCD screens:  one 8” and two 10”
  • Capacitive touch keypad, LED optics with IR, custom processor PCB, embedded software
  • Custom high-capacity lithium ion hot swappable batteries
  • Battery charger and charging crate

  • Led the mechanical design and development effort.


Project Management.

  • Schedules and documentation: ECO’s, part numbers, CAD files, inventory.
  • Offshore manufacturing: tooling, production, assembly.
  • Prototyping and sourcing (touchscreens, keypads, batteries).
